The Foraminiferal Group of the British Micropalaeontological Society announces its Spring Meeting, which will be held at the Natural History Museum (Palaeo. Demo Room) on 12 March 1997 at 2:00 PM. All BMS members, students, friends, wanabes, etc. are cordially invited to attend. A program of short talks, posters, and a keynote presentation will be announced in the coming weeks. Program items confirmed thus far include: Foraminiferal Phenotypic Response to Intervals of Global Environmental Change - Norman MacLeod (Keynote Address) Effects of the June 15, 1991 Mt. Pinatubo Volcanic Eruption on Deep-Water Agglutinated Foraminifera of the South China Sea - Michael A. Kaminski BMS members who would like give short oral presentations (15 min.), display posters, or present demonstrations should contact the Group Chairman (N.
