BMS Foram. Group Meeting

The Foraminiferal Group of the British Micropalaeontological Society
announces its Spring Meeting, which will be held at the Natural History
Museum (Palaeo. Demo Room) on 12 March 1997 at 2:00 PM. All BMS members,
students, friends, wanabes, etc. are cordially invited to attend. A program
of short talks, posters, and a keynote presentation will be announced in
the coming weeks. Program items confirmed thus far include:

Foraminiferal Phenotypic Response to Intervals of Global Environmental
Change - Norman MacLeod (Keynote Address)

Effects of the June 15, 1991 Mt. Pinatubo Volcanic Eruption on Deep-Water
Agglutinated Foraminifera of the South China Sea - Michael A. Kaminski

BMS members who would like give short oral presentations (15 min.), display
posters, or present demonstrations should contact the Group Chairman (N.
MacLeod: N.MacLeod@nhm.ac.uk) or the Secretary (M. Kaminski:
ucfbmak@ucl.ac.uk) as soon as possible.

Refreshments will be provided by the Grzybowski Foundation.
