Well, the good news is that the text-less messages PaleoNet was sending out seem to have stopped. The test message I just posted came through fine. So it looks like PaleoNet is back online. The bad news is that the PaleoNet archive site at Berkeley now appears to be down. Therefore, I can't access archive copies of the messages that didn't go out in order to repost them. I'll scavenge around and try to repost all the announcements that didn't get posted to PaleoNet but were posted to other lists. However, if you tried to post a message to PaleoNet in the last 48 hours, please repost it. Despite this latest glitch, Rob Guralnick has been making good progress in getting PaleoNet fully back on-line and, as of last Friday we were pretty much fully back. Our thanks go out again to Rob who has taken a lot of time away from his other projects to get PaleoNet (and the other Berkeley listservers) back up. Now if you'll excuse me I've got a little thing on K-T Ir to (re)write 8-( Norm MacLeod ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Norman MacLeod Micropalaeontological Research N.MacLeod@nhm.ac.uk (Internet) N.MacLeod@uk.ac.nhm (Janet) Address: Dept. of Palaeontology, The Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London, SW7 5BD Office Phone: 0171-938-9006 Dept.
