Dear Paleonetters, We should think about a way in which if the debate about MOM continues, another television than NBC gains in audience. In this way we can prevent NBC from showing and reshowing such programmes. We should probably contact another television and ask it to reshow the MOM, interrupting the program on each false point and showing what was false in it. This can be a mixture of science and irony to keep the audience high. It is very likely that the same sponsors are going to support this programme presented by another television! I'm sure many of you have in mind even better solutions. Perhaps we are lucky that the wrong paleontology becomes more popular and creates audience. Our job now is much simpler. We only have to switch it to good paleontology (but we have to KEEP it popular). Ali T.
