To all interested parties: I am in need of small fragments of bones from extinct and extant marine vertebrates, specifically lizards, preferrably mosasaurs and crocodilians, for a destructive analysis. Aquatic, semiaquatic and terrestrial crocodilians, both extinct and extant, crossing the widest possible range of ages would be desireable. I will give full credit to anyone supplying such specimens in any publications arising from this work. Depending on the level of contribution, coauthorship is a possibility, but not guaranteed. I have developed a novel technique of extracting intact DNA from fossil sources and need to add additional taxa(non-dinosaurian) to support the efficacy of the technique. Also, hominid specimens would be appreciated under the same terms.
