Sex symbols !!!

Dear Palaeontologists (& Biologists),
Does anyone know of a Microsoft font which allows printing of the female and male 'sex symbols', 
that is the "O"  with a cross or an arrow attached respectively. I am running (PC) Word 6.0 and despite the many 
fonts offered within MS Office none appear to support these symbols. Any suggestions greatfully accepted.
