There is not a group of 'flat-earthers' out there that would take advantage of publishing: false, made-up, and religiously biased "facts" about subjects in physics. If we allow unreviewed publication, what keeps the 'other guys' from reporting what they please? Tell a lie long enough, and it may not be a lie any longer. At least now when they publish it isn't in the paleontological journals. I would like to hear from others that have an opinion about this. Perhaps I worry too much. I would hate to give those text book baners 'scientific' papers they could hold in front of un(paleo)educated school board members. -- Thanks For Your Support RICHARD SWIGART rswigart@heartland.bradley.edu >From paleonet-owner@mailserver.nhm.ac.uk Thu Feb 1 11:26:10 1996 Received: from mailserver.nhm.ac.uk by ucmp1.Berkeley.EDU (4.1/1.31) id AA01061; Thu, 1 Feb 96 11:26:10 PST Received: from SIVM.SI.EDU (sivm.si.edu [160.111.4.1]) by mailserver.nhm.ac.uk (8.7.1/8.7.1) with SMTP id TAA12612 for <paleonet@NHM.AC.UK>; Thu, 1 Feb 1996 19:22:27 GMT Message-Id: <199602011922.TAA12612@mailserver.nhm.ac.uk> Received: from SIVM.SI.EDU by SIVM.SI.EDU (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with BSMTP id 0813; Thu, 01 Feb 96 14:20:18 EST Received: from SIVM (NJE origin MNHAD002@SIVM) by SIVM.SI.EDU (LMail V1.2a/1.8a) with BSMTP id 6520; Thu, 1 Feb 1996 14:20:19 -0500 Comments: Converted from OV/VM to RFC822 format by PUMP V2.2X Date: Thu, 1 Feb 96 14:20:16 EST From: Ralph Chapman <MNHAD002@SIVM.SI.EDU> Subject: PaleoNet on the Move!!!
