Britisch Paleontologists, The following announcement appeared on the sci.paleontology newsgroup. If it is legit (and the headers seem to be coming from the right place), I thought some of you might be interested in the post. -- : James F. "Tracks" is BBC TV's "ultimate guide to the countryside"; a programme that takes its viewers on a weekly trip into the great outdoors, sometimes in an unusual and off-beat direction. "Tracks" is presented by Lindsey Cannon and the next series is scheduled for Summer 1996. One of the features we'd like to do for our next run is on fossils. Having said that, the feature must be based upon a new discovery/revelation/exciting prospect in the world of palaeontology. Also, as we're a UK programme, any story must be UK-based. Not that we're looking for the Holy Grail in fossils, just something that will make our viewers sit up and take notice and, besides, it's an opportunity to get average Joes interested in this fascinating subject. Ideas, suggestions and advice on where/who to ask appreciated by personal email to the address below. Thanks for reading.
