They will be repeated on Saturdays and Sundays from 6th and 7th January, 1996, at 8-8.30 p.m. and 11-11.30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. I imagine these timings are EST. Programmes are: Killer birds (phororhacids et al.) Earthshakers (giant sauropods from Argentina and USA) African Graveyard I (Sereno goes to Sahara) African Graveyard II (Ditto) The land that time forgot (Late Permian reptiles of Karoo) Giant rats (of the Caribbean) Trail of the neanderthal Monsters on the move (dino. footprints) Mystery of Dinosaur Cove (S. Australian polar dinosaurs) Troodon Dinosaurs in the air (Archaeopteryx, and origin of birds) Mammoths Are rhinos dinos? (Rhinoceros evolution) These programmes are variably successful, but I hope some of them prove useful to the vert. palaeo. community Paleoworld 3 is now in preparation, and filming will happen in Spring and Summer of 1996. We are already pursuing some leads, but I'd be very grateful for information on any fieldwork and digs taking place during early to mid 1996. We are tryng to do more non-dinosaur programmes, but it is difficult to sell some ideas to The Learning Channel. Thanks to everyone for their help in 1995. Mike Benton mike.benton@bris.ac.uk
