A New PaleoNet Pages Address and a New Forum Editorial

Now that things are getting back to normal with PaleoNet (at least for a
little while) a few changes have been made of which you might want to make
note. First the address of The PaleoNet Pages has changed to:

http://www.nhm.ac.uk/paleonet/

I'll maintain a duplicate home page at the old address for the next few
months and, after that, will provide a hyperlink from the old address to
the new one. However, to avoid confusion later on you may want to update
your PaleoNet Pages bookmark in the near term.

Additionally, there is a new PaleoNet Forum article up on the pages,
entitled "The Future of Paleobotany (or, How am I driving?) by Una Smith.
Because Una's article got off to a late start as a result of the NHM's
network problems, her's will be Issue 1 of Volume 2 and will remain the
featured editorial through January.

Remember that the PaleoNet Forum is available to anyone wishing the
contribute an article on any paleontological subject. Articles can be
listed on your C.V., they require no expertise in writing .HTML code (I
take care of all that), publication is rapid, the series allows you to
experiment with different electronic publication modes, and (most
importantly) the articles are fun to do. If you are interested in
contributing a Forum article, please contact me.
