This is no longer possible (legally). Australia has a portable heritage act which covers fossils among other items, that expressly forbids the export of fossils without a permit. This system is being investigated because it is clogged with amatuers wanting to send relatively unimportant brachipods and the like but still require a permit. I'll keep you posted on any developments. Cheers, Paul pwillis@ozemail.com.au
