VNM3043: Esther Asselin@CGQ@GSC QUEBEC ------------------ Error number Explanation Follows ------------------- VNM3043 -- MAILBOX IS FULL. The message cannot be delivered because the recipient's mailbox contains the maximum number of messages, as set by the system administrator. The recipient must delete some messages before any other messages can be delivered. The default limit is 1000 messages. Administrators can set lower limits if required using the Change mailbox settings function available in the Manage User menu (MUSER). The 1000 message limit is the maximum allowed by the Mail program. If this limit is reached, the recipient must delete some of the messages before the mailbox can accept any more incoming messages. ---------------------- Original Message Follows ---------------------- >Finally, even though its been said many times in many places by >many people >far better qualified to address this issue than I, let me point out that >dinosaurs didn't go extinct. Birds are dinosaurs. While I to defer to those same people I ( respectfully) am not convinced that this is so. Birds are the cladistically direct descendants of the dinosurs but evolved nearly simultaneously with them. Of course they share features with the theropod clade and superficially resembele the dinosaurs but to say that they ARE dinosaurs is being rather presumptious as is dismissing so called "associations" with regard to the impact scenario simply because one chooses to disagree with data contrary to his/her own data, especially if it is from outside of ones discipline i.e Astronomy, Geology, Geophysics ect. etc. While I do admit to my bias for at least the K-T scenario, I am by no means, unmoveable. When someone comes up with a better hypothesis and/or proves the current hypothesis wrong, ( which has not been done yet) we'll move on. Until then and despite what some may think, my mind is open. Taking pot shots at ones "science" or professionalism no matter which side your on is not going to resolve a thing! Regards, Thomas R. Lipka Paleontological/Geological Studies
