NCGSA Symposium

As Chair of the North-Central Section of the Paleontological Society, I am
responsible for organizing a symposium for next spring at the NCGSA
meeting in Ames, Iowa.  Most previous symposia have dealt with
paleoecology;  I would like to focus on an evolutionary theme this time.

One topic I am considering is "Long-Term Effects of Mass Extinctions." 
Before I finalize the topic, though, I want to make sure there is enough
interest to support this theme.

Please let me know if you (or a student of yours)  might be interested in
participating in a symposium on this topic at NCGSA in Ames next spring.
