IPC - Background Please

I am a relatively new member of PaleoNet, and as a paleontologist working in
industry I am at least tangentially interested in the IPC thread that
apparently was in full swing when I subscribed to the list. Is it possible for
someone out there to publish (1) a list of those folks who are "members" of
the group or at least regular attenders of IPC conclaves, (2) their company
affiliation, and (3) the IPC 1995 goals that I've seen mentioned a couple of
times. Doing so might help other new list members to get some perspective on
the matter. If posting these docs takes up too much bandwidth or is considered
superfluous, they can be sent to my e-mail address below.

It's nice to see some grass roots proactivity on this matter. Being on the
edge of civilized activities, we don't get much in the way of what's going on
outside of Alaska and this link to the mainstream is appreciated [flames too].
I hear nothing internally about IPC meetings/plans/recommendations (I assume
this corporation has no representative in the group, otherwise we would be
receiving semi-regular reports) and must therefore rely on the list as a
primary information source.
