People are leaving for the summer and we've had several requests for the
unsubscribe syntax so that people aren't faced with 1000's of PaleoNet
messages to sort through when they get back from the field (or the beach).
To unsubscribe from PaleoNet send the following command...

unsubscribe PaleoNet

to the following address...

listserver@nhm.ac.uk

The command is not case-sensitive so typing PaleoNet as paleonet will work
just fine.  However, PaleoNet will be active throughout the summer so
please don't feel as though you're not going to be missing anything.  You
will be!  But life is full of hard decisions.  Just make sure you
resubscribe to PaleoNet (by sending the command 'subscribe PaleoNet' to the
same address) as soon as you get back.
