Bob, I sorry I didn't make it to Auburn for the Council Meeting.  I fear I
am not doing you guys any good and you need to replace me.  On the other
hand, if the faculty actually do give Cook a vote of no confidence, you
don't want Council members who will back him out of general principle.  How
are things going?  Any of the sniffs in the air lead to anything?  I leave
for China on Monday, Chris and Ron West are already there.  I don't know if
you know Ron, but they may be having a wonderful time.  Ron will not be
going to the Gobi with us so I'll only hear about their adventures second
hand.  Hope all is going well.  I'll touch base with you this summer.
