*Annual Meeting of the Palaeontological Association University College, Galway, Ireland Saturday 16th December - Wednesday 20th December 1995 1st ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS Two days of talks (17th and 18th December) will be followed by a day of field trips (Tuesday 19th December) with options to visit the Lower Palaeozoic rocks of South Mayo, the Carboniferous rocks of the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher or the Shell-fish Laboratory at Carna, south Connemara. A full range of social events in the city of the tribes, famous for Guinness and Oysters, has been arranged. Talks on any aspect of palaeontology are welcome, scheduled for 15 minutes with a further 5 minutes for discussion. Posters are also welcome. Intending contributors should forward an abstract of not more than 200 words to the local secretary before the 1st September. Abstracts on disc particularly welcome. Speakers under the age of 30 on the 16th December 1995 who are members of the Association and wish to be considered for the prestigious President's Award should inform the local secretary when submitting their abstracts. Specialist group meetings before or after the meeting may also be arranged.
