To add some about papers! The manuscripts even the best are freeware. Journals can freely choose our best manuscripts to sell us (as subscribers) our best, of course, papers! So our funds drop first to carry out the results to be published and then to buy the journal to read the paper. Nice! Recession or no recession. But there is recession of the academic funds, at least in France - 40% of the 1994 CNRS funds have been congelated at the end of 1994 until... A subscription to journal can reach more than 2,000 US dollars. Our library cancels subscriptions each year. So what is a good journal : a journal which has cheap subscription, and also attract good papers. To do a comparison: the scientific products look similar to agriculture products.
