I think an exchange is a great idea, especially for those of us not in a
major University. The ostracod folks look like they have done it with
some success and I include the note on their gopher and the gopher
address in case anyone wants to see one way of doing it.

This is the document that they have posted on their gopher and after
that I include the information needed to find their gopher if you wish
to check it out.

ABOUT THE REPRINT EXCHANGE
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
THIS IS A PROGRAM FOR THE FREE
EXCHANGE OF SURPLUS OSTRACODA LITERATURE

Rosalie F. Maddocks Department of Geosciences, University of
Houston, Houston, Texas 77204-5503 U.S.A. E-mail:
rmaddocks@uh.edu

All workers are invited to participate in this free exchange
program. Here's how it works:

(1) You send me any surplus (duplicate or unwanted)
publications concerning Ostracoda. These can be books,
articles, reprints or photocopies by any author, any age, in
any language. (Do not send reprints on any other group or
topic -- Ostracoda only, please.)

(2) Mark or list the titles you would like me to send you
in exchange. Enclose this list of titles wanted with your
shipment of donated materials.

(3) It's first-come, first-served and no holds. If the
requested materials are available, they will be sent to you
by surface mail.

(4) Each year in Cypris and occasionally on this gopher I
will publish an updated list of publications available.

(5) Please bear in mind that this is an exchange program,
not a give-away. For this program to be successful
long-term, the donations must equal or exceed the requests
both in number and in value. Donations from anyone who has
retired or has ceased to work on ostracodes are gratefully
accepted.

Thanks to those of you who have contributed new titles to
the pool. Although only a small number of people have been
participating, they have received more than 90% of the items
they requested.

All the materials listed are in usable condition and
believed to be complete unless otherwise noted, but I cannot
make any guarantees. Many bear name stamps and other
writing. Most are not autographed by the author.

Titles are abbreviated and words have been omitted. You may
wish to verify the reference in E. Kempf's or another
bibliography before ordering. Photocopies are designated by
X at the end of the line.

This is the technical information on where to find the gopher.
