Dear All, just in case anyone was in any doubt, the message"F in apatite" seems to have caused a few problems; to avoid any further messages being sent to innocent palaeontologists I should confess now that I sent the offending message. As most people have correctly guessed, I inadvertantly left my "confirm reading" option on when the message was posted to PaleoNet which has led to the problem of all these spurious confirmation messages being distributed around the planet. I was unaware that it would cause such chaos. I have to admit that I am a little surprised that this small oversight on my part should screw up the system to the extent that it appears to have done. Anyway, my apologies. Can we now stop sending message about messages and talk about palaeontology instead! I have double checked that my "confirm reading" option is DISABLED, So here goes...
