Where Giants Walked - Gallery 2
by Kelly Taylor
“Pursuit”
A small pack of dire wolves chases down a female Cervalces, the Elk-Moose during an interglacial period. In the foreground two voles stuff themselves with grass stems completely oblivious to the mega-drama unfolding behind them. I often like to add the little denizens of the natural world in my compositions featuring extinct giants, lest we forget their importance in the web of living things.
