Habitat reconstruction of Acanthotretella spinosa from the Greater Phyllopod Bed (Burgess Shale). The pedicle is attached to different types of epibenthos (e.g. Dictyophycus gracilis, carcasses of Sidneyia inexpectans. The brachiopod Micromitra burgessensis is seen in the background attached to the sponge Pirania muricata.
