“Sanctacaris”
Sanctacaris grew up to 10 cm in length and its body was made up of 11 segments each with a pair of legs and gills. The first five spiny mouth appendages at the posterior allow the animal to capture prey .The animal used the telson (tail) for balance and steering. This indicates swimming was the dominant form of movement.
